It's summer, and I wanna get nice and sweaty over some convention commissions. WON'T YOU HELP A POOR BOY OUT?
It's TFNATION time, the convention with a heart bigger than the giant robots it celebrates. It's on from 9th - 11th August 2024 at Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel, just outside Birmingham UK. I'm taking on some pre-show commissions! And you can tell me what you need below. Art-wise, I mean. Emotional support/character assassination can be provided, but only in person at the show.
Details below, follow the instructions, hit the Comments Section, and just tell me what you WANT from me, I'm beggin' ya.
B&W FULL SINGLE FIGURE: £140 EACH
Add £80 for ONE Additional Character
£180 for Live-Action TRANSFORMERS Movie Designs/Combiner Robots :)
To be eligible for these, all you need to do is:
* Reply in the comments section below
* State YOUR name, the name of the CHARACTER you want, the VERSION (G1, Beast Wars, IDW, etc) and of the character you want.

**No over-the-top amounts of props or quirky accessories! (eg: Optimus Prime pushing a shopping trolley full of discounted porcelain.) They take additional time to research and/or design. But all reasonable requests considered! :)
* And apologies, but I'm not interested in drawing explicitly romantic scenarios involving Transformers. I know -- CANCEL ME.
* PLEASE only order a sketch if you will be able to attend to pick it up, and, you know, pay for it.

Can I request a full figure commission of dino mode Grimlock facing Clank from the Ratchet and Clank video game series.
Something like T Rex and Claire from Jurassic World film ( sorry, can't post an image!), but any pose is fine with me.
I'm happy for Grimlock to be either his G1 version or the Maximum Dino one.

Hi Nick, no Tarantulas this year. Instead, if it meets your criteria, I'd like your interpretation of the Decepticon warlord, Megadeath from the prose story 'Magnificent Six' from the 1991 Marvel UK Transformers Annual.
Feel free to interpret him as you please, he was a bit generic but his skull face, spikes and churning reactor would be his recognisable characteristics. If you wanted to go all Pretenders box art and give him an alt mode too I'd be happy for you to charge that as two characters.

This year I'd love to have a G1 Springer (or whatever is more appropriate) as the Autobots very own Jack Reacher (Alan Richtson beast version, not wee Tom Cruise).
I reckon Ol' Springer would make a fine Jack Reacher, so would love to see your interpretation of him.

Okay, I have a specific vision in my mind, so please bear with my poor drawing: https://imgur.com/a/Sgf5gxa. In essence, can I request two of them tango dancing together, laughing, with their shadows fighting/confronting each other? Like, I would love to see their amicable present combined with their hostile past shown in shadows. I'm not sure if you would consider this to be an explicitly romantic scenario or not (sorry, I drew this days before I saw your announcement T.T), but if this pose is unacceptable please let me know, in that case I'm fine with anything that shows two friends happily dancing together.
Also if you need more charge for the shadow part I will of course pay for it, so please let me know about that as well!

Jazzfox/Jasmine here, and can I please request a full body picture of Earthspark Twitch? Said picture being of Twitch kneeling on the ground and somehow having stayed still enough for some inquisitive fox cubs to come investigating/playing over her a little Ghibli-esque manner. Twitch just-about-managing not to laugh too much to frighten them off. With the added detail of a more grizzled/grown up looking fox curled up in the background still keeping an eye on the strange thing her cubs are playing with.
(And yes, this IS all entirely referencing the fifth episode 'Want to look at baby foxes' line, I am entirely happy to pay any extras you wish to make this 'deleted scene' happen for the lil foxes in the pic)
This one's a special one, with Kathreen being in attendance it would be awesome to get a pic of her from you to have her sign!
Usual arrangement, while I sadly won't be in attendance, Fox will be there all weekend to pickup, we can cash/paypal/paypal in advance to make this all happen!

This is my first time applying for a commission, so I'm very excited.
I'd like to draw the Earth Spark Tarantulas, who secretly operates in the dark at night in FULL FIGS. I'll leave the composition up to you, but I really like how he skillfully uses the eight legs on his back in robot mode, so I'd be happy if you could incorporate that into your elements.
I was captivated by the Earth Spark Tarantulas' unique character and visuals. He's a character I really love.
As an aside, in another work, the Tarantulas are ninja soldiers, good at stealth and surprise attacks, so I thought that during wartime they might have fought in a similar way to the Tarantulas in other timelines.
I understand that the Tarantulas in Earth Spark don't want war or fighting, but I also thought that they might take up arms again to protect something important.
As for picking up the item, I live in Japan, so I can't go there in person. However, my agent will pick it up on Sunday. I will inform you about the agent at a later date.
