LAST STAND OF THE WRECKERS #3 OUT THIS WEEK

HUGE thanks to the super-talented, and uber-hunky Chris Mowry for putting this poster together for us.

Last Stand of The Wreckers #3 is released March 24th in North America and on the 25th everywhere else. And if you missed the first two issues...

LES WRECKERS DIGITALES

Graham Thomson of The Hub (http://www.the-hub.co.uk/) puts it better than I ever could:

"The first two issues of the critically-acclaimed IDW mini-series "Transformers: The Last Stand of the Wreckers" by James Roberts and Nick Roche are now available to download to your iPhone/iPod/iPad* for just £1.19 per issue!

You can download the IDW Transformers Comics app for free via iTunes http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/transformers-comics/id335638555?mt=8 and from there buy/download individual issues directly to your device.

Each comic can be viewed either as one-panel-per screen (by holding your device sideways) or one-page-per-screen (by holding your device upright).

And you can even take screen captures of any page/panel for use as wallpaper on your device. Just imagine looking at a screen of beautiful Nick Roche artwork every time someone sends you a message, Facebook update or Tweet!

£1.19 really is exceptional value for a RochertsTM product. Other Transformers comics are available via the App for the same price, but clearly aren't as good value.

So, if you have an iPhone/iPod/iPad* or are a pirate with an iPatch, then do your bit today to support James and Nick and cement a long and utopian future of RochertsTM Transformers comics for our children, their children, and their licensed bio-engineered offspring!

*iPad coming 3 April 2010."

You are a bad man. I don't want any of them to die! D: *prepares to pick up the issue tomorrow and undergo fangirl sobbing...*

Side note: Between Ironfist showing up in "The Coming Storm", and Pyro being part of the BotCon 2010 set, FunPub has got to be counting their luck right about now... XD

Addendum: After reading the 5-page preview just now, make that--fall out of my chair laughing and then undergo fangirl sobbing. (And I thought Rotorstorm was awesome before...)

Take Rotorstorm first! *ducks and runs*

*sticks her tongue out at Rachel* Oh yeah? I say take Impactor first, then! ;P

Well, he probably *will* be first. Let's face it, dude is designed to die, given he's already done so twice in TF history. It's his claim to fame!

I thought Wreckers #3 was gonna come with two profiles to make up for the lack of one in #2? But Wreckers #3 has no profiles!

I am sad and confused.

Sorry, David (and to everyone that expected profiles): they were completed and ready to go, but due to unforeseen circumstances, did not make it into the print edition. We've been assured of their inclusion in #5.

Also: I like it when girls fight about giant robots on my blog.

You know what they say Nick: Chicks dig giant robots!

Also, I was so excited by this issue, that I didn't even realize the profiles weren't there till I read the AllSpark. Now there's the sign of a fun story. Or my memory failing. Or both.

Even better, instead of the standard catfight over who "owns" a character, you get a fight over whose favorite character should die first. Much more entertaining.

I would post an appropriate reaction to the revelation of who got their wish, except I don't want to spoil anyone...

Oh yeah? Well! I think that... uh...

er...

Wait, I don't even know the names of these Wreckers. Except for Springer? He's a Wrecker, right? So I can't really argue about who dies first. Drats. No Fun 4 Me.

Hopefully it's not Springer though!

I'm out of the loop. Not even one issue of LSOFW up here on this rock. Grrrrr!

One of the funniest moments I have seen in quite some time: "Wreckers: Combine!". LMFAO!!!

hey Nick, just thought i'd swing by and let you know how much I'm enjoying this! Easily the best Transformers comic we've had since Generation 2. Its fun, its fast, there's good, solid characterisation and no dry sci-fi technobabble in sight. Hoorah! If only all Transformers comics could be like this - just cut loose from this whole 'slow unfolding storyline' guff that plagues all comics and American media at the moment. Such a breath of fresh air! Thanks man :)

I was raging that I had to wait the extra week for this. Damn volcano. Continues to impress. Great story. Great art. Really getting to like a lot of the characters I haven't heard of before.
